Installing YORK Toggle Light Switches

Multiple wall boxes can be arranged either horizontally or vertically and covered by a single continuous YORK front plate. For this configuration, the wall boxes must be installed at the standard spacing of 71 mm from centre to centre. A minimum wall-box depth of 45 mm is required. For secure installation, the toggle switches are fixed directly to the wall boxes using screws.

A Note on Bespoke Colour Options

YORK front plates are available in a wide range of bespoke colours. If the colour scheme of your interior changes at a later date, there is no need to replace the entire light switch: the front plate can be replaced separately and with minimal effort, while the installed switch mechanism remains untouched in the wall. No qualified electrician is required simply to replace the front plate.
